Angela Lo Priore lives and works between Rome and Milan. She got a degree in Letters with a thesis on cinema, and also earned a diploma in Photography at the European Institute of Design. As a professional, she has experimented with different forms of photography: starting from architecture, then she moved on to advertising and fashion, translating her true artistic expression into portrait photography, both in reportage, one of her greatest passion, and the world of cinema, portraying international actors and actresses around the world. Her exhibition Nel cinema 45 portraits of international actors, was opened in Rome, under the patronage of the first Festa del Cinema in 2006; the following year it was presented and welcomed at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. For some time now Angela Lo Priore has turned her interest towards research photography, her aim being to develop and delve more deeply into the subject of beauty in all its forms, especially the artistic female nude. In her search for images that increasingly approach other forms of art, she created the installation Manichini/Mannequins realized in Cetinje, Montenegro in 2011, and later presented in Milan on the occasion of Fashion Week (ISAIA showroom, February 2012) and Mia Fair (May 2012).
